Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FreshHands, an online platform that connects customers with independent home service professionals ("Workers") in India. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our role

FreshHands is a marketplace. Workers are independent professionals, not our employees. We verify Workers' identity before approval, but the service itself is provided by the Worker.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
• We may suspend accounts that break these Terms or harm other users.

3. Bookings

• Prices shown at booking are the prices you pay, unless you and the Worker agree on additional work on site.
• Please provide an accurate address and ensure someone is present at the chosen time.
• A booking is confirmed once a Worker accepts it.

4. Payments

You can pay online (UPI, debit/credit card via Razorpay) or in cash when the job is completed. Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store your card details.

6. Worker obligations

• Provide genuine identity documents and keep your profile accurate.
• Arrive on time, behave professionally, and complete work to a reasonable standard.
• Do not ask customers to pay outside the agreed price or to move bookings off the platform.

7. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on a real booking. We may remove abusive, false, or irrelevant reviews.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FreshHands is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Report any damage or safety issue within 48 hours so we can help resolve it.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
