Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data FreshHands collects and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number, and profile photo.
• Booking details: service addresses, dates, notes, and booking history.
• Worker verification: Aadhaar document and photo, used only for identity checks.
• Payments: payment status and reference IDs from Razorpay. We never see or store full card or UPI PIN details.
• Reviews you write and ratings you receive.

How we use it

• To create and manage bookings and connect customers with Workers.
• To verify Workers and keep the platform safe.
• To process payments and send booking notifications.
• To resolve disputes and provide support.

Who can see your data

• Workers see the name and address for bookings assigned to them.
• Phone numbers and identity documents are visible only to you and our admin team.
• We share data with service providers (hosting, Razorpay) only as needed to run the service. We do not sell your data.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers with access controls. Identity documents are kept in private storage and accessed only through time-limited links by admins.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We keep booking and payment records as long as required by law.
